Olympic weightlifting class is appropriate for both beginners and experienced, competitive weightlifters. There’s a strong emphasis on proper technique and smart programming – and zero emphasis on ego – so that you can reach your strength goals quickly and safely. HOW WE’RE DIFFERENT:
Weightlifting class is taught by
experienced coaches only. All of our coaches are certified through USA Weightlifting, and all of our coaches have years of experience on the competition platform and in coaching weightlifters at meets. Team GrassIron is an official USA Weightlifting Club. Our coaches take lifters to several competitions each year, and we’ve hosted 10+ sanctioned weightlifting meets at our gym. (When we say we’ve got a lot of experience, we’re not kidding!)
We provide very
structured programming. We’ve been doing this for several years now – in that time, we’ve collected a lot of “empirical data”. In other words, our programs have actually been tested in the field, which is exactly why they work – they’ve been tested and revised and tested and revised and tested and revised … you get the idea.
We place a strong emphasis on proper technique because we know
poor technique results in injury… and a short lifting life! If you’re doing this wrong, you won’t be doing it for long! IS OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING CLASS RIGHT FOR YOU?
