When Julia joined the gym in November of 2021, they really had limited mobility, so we started at beginning: with bodyweight squats to an 18" box and KB deadlifts. Fortunately, they were patient and willing to do the work necessary to progress safely.
Fast forward one year: in February of 2022, Julia's mobility was steadily improving, and they were able to start doing hex bar deadlifts on the blocks. In the summer of 2023, they were able to do barbell squats with 30kg and barbell deadlifts with 45kg.
And then life happened. Julia took a 9 month hiatus to work on their master's degree. Once with was complete, they were back in the gym!
Fast forward to today: You're not going to believe what Julia's doing these days!
