She set out to conquer the John Muir Trail, a long distance trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range that passes through Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

Diane was planning to hike for 21 days, but the parks were closed as a result of fires. However, before their trip was cut short, she managed to:

  • HIKE 130 MILES IN 13 DAYS

  • GAIN 18,000 FEET OF ELEVATION

  • CARRY A 35-POUND BACKPACK THE ENTIRE TIME

In case you were wondering, she said there's a "100% chance" that she'll return to complete the entire hike! We've no doubt!
